Ode to May Moon Revelers

Ode to May Moon Revelers

Flower Moon    Witch’s Moon
Wild Hares and Hawthorne blossoms
Froggy and frolicsome

Sparkling drops of fresh Sky-Water
adorn the Earth in the late day sun

The Forest Awake
Pollen goes A-Mayin’
The Trees they are all Dressed in Green

At the Dawning of the Day
Tis the Sun Majestic
Dewy Wisdom Glistens
The Gate to Summer beckons

Birdsong and bee-humm
Flowers and bugs honor their pacts
The Bears are now a-crappin’

Suitable conditions arise
Cold and Hot hold hands A-Trysting in Balance
The Suffering of Change hidden for now

The Air Fresh with Flora’s dizzying scent
Sunflakes Play without foreboding
The cold darkness fades into the distance

Leap the Fire for Luck and for Fortune
Stomp the Earth
Homage to the Gravity Mother

Oh Ye Sprites A-Glisten
Disperse the Sweet May Medicine

Warriors drenched in sweat and grease
Fine-Tune Machines metal and proud
To Shape the Land and Carry the Loads
Lads to Loosen the Role Fear as Maidens Beckon

Skip Ye’all  Wantonly into the Great Unknown

May ye Merrily Meander through the Mayhem and Maya
and sip the nectar of the fragile flower - this moment
This Life.
