Magick Coffee

Magick Coffee

As I drag my weary head from the warm spell of this bed
I am born again still slightly hypnopompic
Reignited aspirations, mind, body, and chores
Then there is the contemplation
The rich warm brew approaching gracefully
a soft landing on the lips, gingerly now
the warmth stretches like a fresh sun ray
to the body within and the magick spreads
to the mind ah a fresh new world appears before me
Perhaps it will last forever but we all know better
May all in need of a new day heed the wisdom of the brew
May the rising soft confidence of sustained alertness
imbue the weary minds of those among the worlds.
May the burden of duty and task be joyful effort
May ease of mind discovered, adorn us.
