Isle of Apples
As we come to a castle in the valley of the mind
We suddenly remember that there’s much we left behind
The magick ways of seeing and of being with what we find
Unto the Isle of Apples we shall return
But now times are much newer and much different than before
And the keen minds of the wordsmiths they re-manifest the lore
Now the mist is all around us as we stand here at the shore
Unto the Isle of Apples we shall return
Questing long for meanings far within the misty veils
Songs of love and death are spun from joy and from wails
Through sickness and through monsters for fortune and for tales
Unto the Isle of Apples we shall return
The cauldron of great mysteries lies hidden for to find
The odds of inner travelers our future to divine
Through mountains through forests for silver and for wine
Unto the Isle of Apples we shall return
Yonder ride the medicine-knights who quest to find a way
To make peace with the warring winds who hold us in their sway
And to brush away the dead skin of a thousand years decay
Unto the Isle of Apples we shall return
Faces change in the land of evergreen
Steady now knight and you may peer
through the cracks in the earth to the otherworld
shown by the moon and the wheel of the year
Let us make much rhyme and merriment
Let us rise anew the clans
Heal our battered hearts and tired minds
May we follow a Way again
