Babies Cry For What's To Come

Babies Cry For What’s to Come

Look into the mirror.     Look into the water.
Gaze into the future by looking at the past.
The past is fixed, the future far away but now
-    is our tool. Work with the moment to
-    create tomorrow. Now is always Now.
To divine is to pay attention.
Vastness of choice is narrowed.
Look into the boundless sky.
It escapes confinement.
Monotony is the shaman’s drum.
Each breath is a new one.
Reach to know. Stretch to be. Strive to relax.
There is nothing but this and our illusory world
-    that we drag along like a box of old toys.
What new toys will replace them?
Seek with mind an answer from the hidden.
Offer us a road to explore, perhaps a new one.
May wherever we go be enhanced.
May whatever we do have meaning.
May whatever we have be offered.
May whatever we offer be enjoyed.
May whatever we enjoy be liberated.
Mingle often with these aspirations.
