Disgusting yuck stirs aversion
We are ruled by mere appearances
Every day is a race, a contest
between truth and illusion.
But which is which is hard to know.
We are poked by envy and competition
We are carried away by pride and arrogance
We are ever distracted by these games that
offer a hollow promise of victory.
We are under the spell of the world of appearances.
Our illness is hidden to ourselves
Steer clear oh friend. These games are killing us.
See beyond the customs of the masses
See beyond the habits of the many
Let go of your teddy bears
Put down the bottle
Abandon tomorrow
Loosen the grip on distraction and petty duty
There is a bigger task
Become vast and profound
Call the doctor, Call the wizard
Give up delusion.
