Bird Talk Moon

Bird Talk Moon

I saw the drowsy snow drifting off in the evening sun
Yes the evening sun
Thou shalt not? Pass
This is the apex axis pass and there is no way but down or            sometimes up
Crests and troughs are relative
The crest of thy relatives, part random and part meaning

Hero and man and goddess and Heru and Hoor and heresy and sun and ray and way
Heretofore hierophants humbly hum with harps in hand

The crows showed me a murder dance
Symmetrical swirl of particles in a glass of wind
They fall and offer themselves to the sky
The swirling sediment dance gives way to a graceful wind ride

Creatures call and chant for seed
Conversations appear and screech language abounds
Hawk atop a pole bodes ill for small wanderers
Sharp eyes are stalking the scene below
Death. It’s the future
For them, for us, for all

But now is hope for comfort and warmth
Woodpecker defies gravity in trunkwalk
Holy Sassafras

Metal center and plastic circumference
Power

Tree chatter and sky screech and ground chirp
Danger! Food! Sex!

Longing to sleep under an open sky
Longing to rest in the warm green mother and father sun bath
To work and tidy up and thirst and gaze upon what appears

Aspirations for a man’s safe return, safe journey, safe recovery
Aspirations for a warm and calm starry night with no worries

O ye bearers of souls
O ye squawkers and soarers
May you well adorn the scene and be well
