Life is a Hoax

Life is a Hoax

We think we experience the world as it is yet we only have a collective vision of it
The cargo of our pasts coincide as they say and so we seem to see the same world

The reality of our senses is passed through the filter of conceptuality
We build our reality with word-thoughts

We seek ease but find only toil
We seek stability but find only change
We seek idle time but find only busyness
We seek youth and immortality but find only aging and decay
We seek existence but find only dependence

We hope for freedom and fear bondage
We dance intimately with every affliction
We know intimately every addiction
We lie and ignore
We despise and adore

What is ours to keep? Nothing
We are guests here wearing out our welcome
We are carvers of niches and selected selectors
We make choices and endure consequences
We are links in chains of choices

We are dreamers, liars, and believers
We are schemers, diers, and deceivers

It is hard to agree amidst the vastness and variability of views
It is hard to agree on a story, on a plan; on the past, on the future

Life is a hoax and yet the hoax hurts and the hoax heals
We discover that we invent reality with our thoughts
Then we discover the reality before thoughts, our original nature
This is our deepest self that is not a self
Or so they say

Lunatic Fringe and Lost Moons Returning

Lunatic Fringe and Lost Moons Returning

Gentle adrenaline thunder and tears in the wind
The rumble of time, always moving
There are no sides, no teams, no winners or losers

Despised and ignored we wander along unscathed
I found a clan song but to arouse and tend it will be challenge
Contentment and hope don’t mix

We are wildflowers hidden in obscured woodlands
We rot away as fools dance their exalted facades
May we settle into clarity and balance

The quiet winter frost air reveals distance of sound, a wider vista
From here I can command the horizon
Here I can gaze the boundary of earth and sky

Let us pretend, Let us withdraw the sensory cacophony parade
Let us come together and fall apart together
Let us dissolve and reformulate

As brother and sister may we roam the beauty of space
The Circle of Availability feeds us
Social Offering

Deeper intuitive communication is sought here by me
Our feather togetherness is able to subdue the floods of falsity that appear
Well now, perhaps we should delve into memories of tomorrow

We’ve left our plans in hero’s lands
We wander far astray
And though I seek the dragon’s peak
I long to go the Way

Changes loom and meetings with strangers
We are the archonic lords of our own karma illusions
The tide of shared existence and the cycle of the parasite wends along

I long for you and you and you
I long for those who can see beyond the rhetoric of the rallying of fools
I long for the sane yet mad adventurers

Offerings of my very beloved friends to subdue your pangs
Please make balance and wisdom apparent oh spirits of happenstance
May ease of mind ever adorn you oh comrade sentient beings

Earth Raper's Ball

Earth Rapers Ball

We are the rapist and we are therapist
We administer the poison and the medicine as well
We maim and we heal
We are split in this way into hero-villain duality
There is no us and them, just us

We trample and pollute yet we are aware that we do
We mitigate our effects to some extent yet we are growing
Our growth into many of many pulls from the stores and leaves waste and sores

Some shout of oppression and blame the few but it is the many, the all that share blame
The eccentric consumption machine is ultimately unsustainable
Each of our little pats is helpful but secondary to accurate planning
We have monetary resources
We have choices as to how to use them
There are serious risks with all methods
No-brainers are no-brainers
The rest is what faces us

Collaboration is essential
The ability to act fast is essential
The ability to be undeluded by immediate benefits
at the expense of long-term benefits is essential
The ability to see the value and means of transition is essential
The ability to work in multiple time frames – now and tomorrow – is essential
Political bullshit is harmful
The rhetoric of conflict is harmful
Declaration of war and ideology is harmful
Not considering the views of others is harmful

Policy and appropriation are not won but agreed upon
There is no battle
There is project and the means to proceed
There is Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, and more

Calling Moonward for Moon Words

Calling Moonward for Moon Words

What is worth sharing?
What should be discussed?
What should we do when we get together?

Uncertainties seem to haunt every intersection
There is a certain flow of unfolding bliss-display
It is there in fantasy and there in music

Attentive sweetness and relaxing
Rest in the song’s delight
Words fail to capture ineffable essences
Interactions at intersections

Formalities pervade and win the day
And the distant murmuring din fades quickly away
Friendship is just a fuzzy far off image

We are here in the land of farm and forest
Home
Society is just those few of us here and the many of species other
And media as well, a window to a small sociality

The Moon is Like a Lotus Flower

The Moon is Like a Lotus Flower

The Moon is Like a Lotus Flower
Fresh and new, with fragile moments few to sparkle and glisten
Just for a breath or two I stare and here and there I listen
Watery slithering curvy blur departs from her mud sleep
Another day another year another play of hope and fear
Another turning of another circle
And gain and loss of all that is dear
And so it goes the flaming rose away it blows in summer winds
It is the endless flow that will come, dwell, and go
And we’ve nothing to show for the glorious past that didn’t last

Nothing left to do but chase the nimble nymph known as Now

The Moon is Like a Lotus Flower
The mani jewel glow of night’s crescent bow shoots arrows of moon rays
As Eros-Cupid-Kama sends darts of soma hearts on this best of lovers’ days

Nothing left to do but chase the nimble nymph known as Now

But I’ll soon fall away into old habits and chase the elusive rabbits of bitter desire
But archer, archery and target are lost in the none-ness of the faintest point of fire
And me I wallow ever in the mire wailing for a time then settling into the flow of stillness
And then I’ll be awoken by the shrillness of a new day demanding chores and deeds
And too we are all gardeners planting seeds hoping for flowers and fearing weeds

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Life is a dream
And what else but Love could be true?

Romance is an illusory dance
That fades from certainty to chance
As the dance of days fades to wrinkles and grays
Oh time, our lives are truly yours
You lead us to doors
Along paths of endless change
This life is sad and strange
But there are inhales and exhales yet to savor and explore
And moments to falsely and knowingly so adore
We smile for tomorrow’s blooms of children and flowers
And we marvel at the rising and falling of beings and powers

And now and then from the muck of night will rise this lotus flower again
