Before the Knowing Leap of Folly
We seekers of gratification dazzled by illusions grand
We chasers of satisfaction takers of attraction’s hand
May we know our folly well and be as lightning and bell
Losing me in the endless sea of we
Lonely though we be, let us see within, to greater integration
Watch and Listen, Sing and Glisten
To the Words of Religion, Be Kind
In the Gardens of Hedon, let us to caution heed
Distinguishing the Want from the Need
Taking Care to sample little food in the hidden realms
Tantric Artists and Precipice Walkers
Assymptotists and Inspiration Talkers
Lapping Honey from the deadly Knife
We wend our way through joy and strife
Mastery is a delicate dance
Humans amaze other Humans
But we all fall to the elements of time and habit
Let us see and go beyond illusions and dwell in unobscured moments without measure
